By decision of RAE, the reserve price went up to 36.34 euro/MWh (from 32.05) for the offered 400 MWh/h and the auction was characterized by aggressive policy and demanding large quantities from the beginning of the process. In yesterday’s auction, the price closed at 48.84 euros/MWh, with a total of 14 supply companies, industries and traders, two of which withdrew without a share due to intense competition. Eight closed the requested quantities at 48.84 euro/MWh while four bid at 48.73 euro/MWh. The market, like RAE, is expecting traders’ next moves to see if NOME is being abused. The next and last auction for 2018 is expected on October 17th.
