The meter, which records 2 consumption zones, works with two counters. The one with the M mark is for the Reduced Bill (Night) and the second with the K mark is for the regular bill (Day). Zone change can be checked depending on the date, the hours when the start and pause of the counters changes respectively.

If you are a tenant of the property, you will need the consent of the owner. in any event, you can contact the relevant DEDDIE office that serves your area, having with you an electricity bill, your ID and TIN certificate. Your participation in the replacement cost of a meter amounts to € 34 plus VAT.

SOCIAL RESIDENTIAL TARIFF

According to the no. Δ5-ΗΛ/Β/Φ29/16027/6.8.10 Decision of the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, as amended by no. ΥΠΕΝ/ΥΠΡΓ/892/152/08.01.2018 Decision of the Minister of Environment and Energy, Social Residential Tariff (ΚΟΤ) is provided for the protection of vulnerable consumer groups.

In the revised conditions for joining the KOT, a Special Large Family Tariff (ΓΤ) has also been included. The ΓΤ tariff, as it existed, was abolished in accordance with the Government Gazette 242/01.02.2018.

ΚΟΤ is valid and is applied in common by all Suppliers with a common pricing policy, as it has been published.

Beneficiaries may submit their application for inclusion in KOT to EDIKA S.A. The meter must necessarily and exclusively concern the main residence and the bill be in the name of the applicant or his/her spouse. Each subsequent year, the beneficiary needs to re-apply for inclusion in KOT in order to recheck the conditions fulfilled, otherwise his inclusion is discontinued and he returns to the applicable pricing of his Provider.
